Confronting key barriers affecting expansion of HIV services

AQUITY staff and consultants have provided extensive technical assistance to: strengthen service delivery including differentiated service delivery; institutionalization of quality assurance; strengthening access to viral load testing and other diagnostic services; HIV surveillance; case management; access to voluntary medical male circumcision; behavior change interventions; HIV and TB integration; implementation of TB preventive therapy; among others.

Our staff have assisted policy-makers, health program managers, and service providers with the skills and know-how to stem the onward transmission of HIV. We have designed and implemented rigorous project monitoring and evaluation platforms to (1) improve efficiency and effectiveness of health systems and processes, (2) improve patient and health outcomes, and (3) increase social responsiveness and accountability.
